To really understand India, her society, culture, politics & economics, one needs to break out of the dualities of the right vs. the left, of secularism vs. religion, of science vs. spirituality, of economic growth vs. ecological preservation, of anti- and pro- globalization forces. The diversity of India is pre-figured in her philosophy, a system that includes the Left as well as its supposed opposite - spirituality - in its conceptions
Imo, he was a trojan horse, a plant right from the start - the easy access he has to all the TV channels indicates that he enjoys backing from well connected sources.
